Nachitikula Primary School in Phalombe makes it into Top 10 of the World's best School Prize.

The school together with Phalombe Teacher Training College (TTC), Phalombe District Forestry office and other stakeholders are involved ina Bold Climate Action Initiative and Sixty Million Tree Planting Program. Of the Sixty million trees so far slightly over 800, 000 trees have been planted. The aim in the long run will be to mitigate the impact of floods that disrupt schooling from time to time
