The Kingdom of Morocco through the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) has offered the Government of Malawi 100 fully funded scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year commencing in September 2025, distributed as follows:
Applications are, therefore, invited from suitably qualified Malawians that meet the minimum requirements outlined below to apply for the Moroccan Government Scholarships for the 2025/26 academic year to study in Public Moroccan Universities and colleges. Applicants are encouraged to indicate more than one programme in their applications and also the institution offering the programme.
2.1 Under-Graduate Studies
The areas of study under this category include the following: Medical Studies (3), Paramedical Studies (4), Business and Management Studies (8), Architecture (1), Engineering and Technological Sciences (8), Agronomic and Veterinary Sciences (1) and other eligible programmes available on the AMCI website. Applicants must have 6 credits including English and must pay attention to specific programme requirements. Please visit www.amci.ma/publications for more details.
2.2 Post-Graduate/Professional Studies
The areas of study under this category include the following: Economics and Management, Educational/Teaching and Human Development Studies, Socio-economic Development Studies, French Language and Literature Studies; and English Language and Literature Studies. 2.3 Vocational Training Diplomas
The areas of study under this category include the following: Hotel and Tourism Management, Mechanics, Plumbing, Construction, Electrical, Tailoring and Design, Digital and Cinema Arts, Socio-Educational Agent, ICT Technician and other vocational training areas. Under this category, applicants must have credits in English and Mathematics and one the following Physics or Chemistry or Physical Science or General Sciences. Those seeking to upgrade their current qualifications in these areas may also apply. The Moroccan Government will meet the following training costs: Return Air Ticket, Tuition Fees, Medical Insurance and Student Allowance of $75 per month to cater for accommodation, meals medical insurance and other incidentals. Successful individual applicants and guardians are advised to provide for own financial resources, of up to $250.00 per month, as a top up to cover for living expenses not adequately covered by the scholarship.
Eligible public servants who are interested to apply for the scholarships must ensure that they meet Government training policy requirements. In addition to satisfying general eligibility criteria provided under 5, public servants shall be required to submit the following documents to help in determining whether they qualify for a Paid Study Leave or Unpaid Study Leave:

Those with knowledge of French Language will have an added advantage, as teaching will be conducted in French. All successful applicants will undergo a one-year French Language Course before being enrolled and registered in their respective chosen Diploma or Degree Courses. Applicants are therefore advised to take French Language classes prior to their departure for Morocco.
Interested applicants must submit a letter of application stating clearly their desired area of study, date of birth and contact phone number(s). Copies of the academic documents must be certified/ authenticated by a Commissioner of Oaths. The closing date for receiving applications is 10th June, 2025.
