Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Technology Honourable Francis Foley has reaffirmed government’s commitment to ensuring credible and fair national examinations.
Foley made the remarks in Dedza on Friday when he monitored the final day of the 2026 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations, where candidates sat practical subjects.
The Deputy Minister said the ministry is satisfied with the progress of this year’s examinations, noting the collaboration among examination officials, teachers, invigilators, and other stakeholders .
He said government would continue implementing measures aimed at strengthening the credibility of national examinations and ensuring that all learners are assessed in a fair and transparent manner.
The 2026 MSCE examinations, which commenced on June 29, officially concluded on 24th of July with candidates sitting practical examinations in technical and vocational subjects across the country.
